Educational Tour / Exposure Trips

An educational tour for all the children of LCs was organized. As many as 200 students were taken to Rajghat, Delhi Zoological Park, India Gate and Birla Mandir. During the visit children were briefed about the places to be visited and the historical importance given to such places. All the children enjoyed the tour. It was an exposure of unique kind for these children who happened to come out of their places for the first time.

Visit of Dignitaries……

Visit of Mr. Ryan Chapman

Mr. Ryan Chapman, Founder Director of Leaders’ Quest of U.K. visited Remedial Education Centres Shakurpu, Delhi. Mr. Chapman remarked in his nothings in the visitor’s diary about his impressions & observations. The BNS Chief Executive presented BNS momento on behalf of BNS faculty. Its equally fascinating to put on record the comments made by Mrs. Amita Kumar, Executive Director, ISF who opined her observations as ‘very encouraging to see the girls so enthusiastic about school and their aspirations. The fact that they want to attend School on Sundays too, speaks a lot for the School’. It was really a wonderful experience for our students and a memorable event for all of us.

Visit of Mr. & Mrs. Grante RG of UK:

Mr. & Mrs. Grante from Landon (UK) accompanied by ISF team, Mrs Lekha Srivastava, Executive Director, ISF visited the Pitampura & Shakurpur Remedial Education Centres and had an hour long children friendly interaction with the RECs’ children. They were quite impressed with the performance and interaction with the children. They asked a number of interesting questions on Math which the children answered promptly with accuracy. The children performed a ‘dance in action’ based on a poem. The performance was highly appreciated by the delegates. The children offered and presented specially designed ‘Cards’ to them as a token of their respect to the esteemed guests. Mr. Grante while giving his on assessment and observation remarked “Congratulations to all the pupil and teachers at the BNS Centre. We wish all of you good luck. All good wishes”.
