20 students of Learning Centres participated in a Drawing Competition organized by New Blue Bird Sports & Cultural Society, Keshav Puram and competition in different events like drawing, singing, dancing were organized by Janhit Society for Social Welfare, Azadpur. They won several prizes. It boosted the morale of not only the participating students but also others inculcating the competitive spirits.

The Centers have been well equipped with play materials such as Carromboards, Mental Exercise Games the Puzzles, Jumping /skipping Ropes, Frisbee etc. in order to develop students’ personalities, they are encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities of their own choice as per their own interest, off and on, apart from usual teaching sessions.

In addition to these activities – regular monitoring of weight is being done with available weighing machine in each Center provided by BNS from its own resources. Those found under weight are referred for further health check up and follow up as and when found necessary.

Special Coaching Camps:

A group of 30 children of the IRCs were given ‘Special Coaching’ with special inputs and prepared them to appear for the NCT Delhi’s Government Sponsored MCD’s ‘Meghavi Chhatravirti Yojna’ which provides annual ‘scholarship’ for the successful candidates to pursue their studies from IVth Class onwards. All the children worked hard and were found to be extraordinarily happy and encouraged for taking up the test. This has created an atmosphere of learning with dedication and inculcated a sense of achievement. Others wanted to follow suit.
